This policy explains what information Ledger collects and how it's used. Ledger is built and operated by a solo developer — if anything here is unclear, contact us at the email in the footer.
When you create an account: your email address and business details you choose to add (business name, address, bank details for receiving payments).
When you create invoices: client names, emails, and invoice details you enter. This data is used to generate and send invoices on your behalf.
When a client views or pays an invoice: we record that the invoice was viewed, and any payment confirmation (note or receipt photo) they submit.
Solely to operate Ledger — generating invoices, sending emails (payment reminders, receipts), and displaying your data back to you. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Ledger uses third-party infrastructure to operate: a hosting provider, a database provider, and an email delivery service (for reminders and receipts). These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
